So 2024 and seem to be past the coldest days of winter, no real snow here other than some flurries. Now its warmed a little and is raining a lot.
I took up archery last year joining Yately Archers in october and loved doing it since. Got a decent recurve bow setup which is really nice, with no issues at all. Pulling 26lbs at the moment which seems enough until I get stronger and better. Managed to win my first competition even though i didn't know it was a competition. Did really well combined with my big handicap i walked away with a medal and a trophy ! Last week came second in a random pairs competion which was cool so another archery medal :)
Signed up Cillian to do the beginners course in april and even the missus is thinking about joining that too which will be great.
