So far we have dodged the Covid bullet , all been tested and none of us have it despite, temperatures, flu like symptoms etc etc. The father in law however did contract it and was seriously ill in hospital in intensive care for a few weeks with a month in hospital overall. Thankfully he recovered and is back to his old self. Cases are rising annoyingly, past 3 days have hovered under 3000 new cases a day. I am thoroughly sick to death and bored of covid-19 !!

Cillian started primary or "big" school today , he looked very smart in his uniform and seemed to enjoy his first day which is good. 

My bike has had a few upgrades in particular some carbon aero handlebars which I have been thinking of doing for over a year or two now. Went for a Shimano Pro Vibe one which was a good price, light, well regarded and looks good. Also it has full internal cabling for Di2 especially with bar end junction box cabling. Thus I also got the bar end junction box for Di2 and also the internal battery to get rid of the ugly external one it came with. Ugly and recently nearly fell off due to the screws coming loose. So after a full service at Pedal Heaven i have a slightly lighter and more aero bike and the bars feel great. Also this battery allows me to connect up the bike to my PC to update the di2 firmware and also change the settings if I need to.
