Since my last post, our amazing miracle baby arrived! February 16th , Cillian Peter Johnston arrived a bit earlier than expected in a traumatic way! In for a check up on how he was doing and one hour and an emergency C section later , I met my newborn son! Premature, but fine and healthy. All those scans showing issues here and there, causing us grief and sadness turned out to not to be anything. Being premature meant a few things needed fixing or would fix themselves in time. So here he is 6 months old, chatty, happy, laughing, standing, crying, screaming sometimes, holding things and putting everything in his mouth just like a normal baby should. Even had 2 swimming lessons where he kicks his legs instinctively without prompting unlike the other babies in the pool! Chuffed to bits being a dad.
